Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic artist, performer and composer. He combines soul gospel jazz with R&B to create a unique mixture. She has appeared on stages all over the world, from Broadway up to the Democratic National Convention to the European scene of clubs and festivals. Sunshine was born Denise White. While she is living in Atlanta at present, Sunshine comes born in Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she began her career as a musician singing and playing at the church in town. In Atlanta she went to Spellman College where her musical education began in the Atlanta's R&B Scene. The Fighting Temptations The single that featured her vocals,"Stalk You A House 12 came out only in Japan. The song has been remixed numerous times and is the mainstay of her live show. Her voice also appeared on the soundtrack of The Fighting Temptations. She became the primary pianist for Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 for a position as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls, the theatre production in Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was noticed by all of the country during four performances per day at 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later invited to sing for the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
