Summer Glau is an American actress who is famous for her role as River Tam in the critically loved TV series Firefly and also as Cameron in the show Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Apart from that, she's starred in the TV shows The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow and Sequestered as well as guest-starred in the TV shows Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and Hawaii Five-0. Alongside appearing in movies like Serenity, Knights of Badassdom and Knights of Badassdom, the actress has appeared in TV movies and short-films like Mammoth the Beginning of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon aiding in the celebrations of the holidays Dead End Inside the Box and other. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Selena was the third daughter of Marcela Quintanilla as well as Abraham Quintanilla. Selena was able to begin her musical journey at the age of 8 years young. Her father started the band. Selena and her brothers Abraham junior and sister Suzette played drums. Selena sang for the group. Selena Y Los Dino was the band's name and Selena sang with her siblings in restaurants, bars and wedding celebrations. Selena as well as her siblings and their parents were always busy in the band. They didn't have a childhood. But Abraham helped them become passionate musicians with his determination. Abraham senior was also a musician in the group that first formed, Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos were official founded in the year 1981. The band was a tradition of the family and the primary source of income for the family. While there were difficult times initially with limited money the Quintanilla family were determined and persevered on their journey to becoming a success group. The perseverance paid back in the mid 1980's as Selena Y Los Dinos gained notoriety in the west. In 1986 the band received their first taste of success as Selena was awarded Female Vocalist of the Year as well as Artist of the Year on the Tejano music awards. Selena Y Los Dinos gained popularity and recognition following that. There were many Spanish language TV shows including El Show De Johnny Canales all the time in Domingo (Saturday night Gigante) and El Show De Johnny Canales always on Sundays were aired.
